NOTICE TO PUBLIC FOR COMMENT ON AMENDED STATE PLAN AS REQUIRED BY THE HELP AMERICA VOTE ACT OF 2002, SECTION 256 FROM CHIEF ELECTION OFFICIAL, SECRETARY OF STATE, TREY GRAYSON
The Secretary of State as Chief Election Official for Kentucky, Trey Grayson, provides notice to the public, pursuant to Section 256 of the Help America Vote Act, that the preliminary version of the Amended State Plan is available for public inspection and comment. All public comments must be written and received within 30 days of this published notice to be considered before the final version of the Amended State Plan is submitted to the Election Assistance Commission for publishing in the Federal Register. The 2003 State Plan was adopted on June 12, 2003, published in the federal register and effective after a 60 day state and federal public comment period. The 2006 State Plan was adopted on December 8, 2006, published in the federal register, and effective after a 60 day state and federal public comment period.
