Federal Delegation
The federal delegation includes the U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives who have been elected to represent Kentucky in the United States Congress. These are the men and women who travel to Washington D.C. to join the elected legislators from other states in creating laws for our nation.
Congress is a bicameral body. This means, that like the Kentucky General Assembly, it is divided into two separate chambers: the Senate and the House of Representatives.

House of Representatives |
 |
In the U. S. House of Representatives, the number of members allowed for each state is determined by population. States with more people naturally have more representatives. There are 435 representatives in total, six of whom represent Kentucky. Visit this site to learn more about these six individuals and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Senate |
 |
In the U. S. Senate, each state has equal representation regardless of its land size or population. There are 100 senators in total, so each of the fifty states has two senators. Visit this site to learn more about the U.S. Senate and the two senators who represent Kentucky.
