Initial Land Acquisition in Kentucky

Neal Hammon, a resident of Shelby County, Kentucky, has had a lifelong interest in pioneer Kentucky history. He has published a number of books and articles in such journals as "The Filson Club History Quarterly" and "The Register of the Kentucky Historical Society". He has researched and generated numerous maps of Kentucky's early land patents. (See the "Maps" section of this website for the "Neal Hammon Collection".)
