Virginia Treasury Warrants Registers, Volumes I & II,
Kentucky's Office of the Secretary of State’s Land Office

1. Statement regarding the issuance of 300 Treasury Warrants to Col. George Rogers Clark on January 29, 1780, “for the purpose of recruiting his Battalions in lieu of the bounty of seven hundred and fifty dollars”. Warrant numbers 2087 thru 2386 (560 acres each) were dated January 29, 1780. 

2. Statement regarding a second Land Office being opened in Albemarle County, Virginia, in 1781 and the issuance of Treasury Warrants 8502 to 10572.

3. Certification by William Price, Register of the Virginia Land Office, of the transcription of Treasury Warrants Register, Volume I, by Edmund Thomas, agent from Kentucky. The certification is dated July 16, 1798, and spans warrant numbers 1 through 14414.

4. Certification by William Price, Register of the Virginia Land Office, of the transcription of Treasury Warrants Register, Volume II, by Edmund Thomas, agent from Kentucky. The certification is dated July 19, 1798, and spans warrant numbers 14415 through 23082.
