New Web Presence

The most notable change for the office is the dramatic redesign of the office's website.  Since its launch, the website has garnered international awards and has been recognized as the top business website in Kentucky. 

The newly designed site meets ADA standards, allowing more Kentuckians to have access to its online services and information.  The website offers information on all office responsibilities, including business services, elections, administrative services, land records, and executive information.  

Online services and business filing forms received prominent billing on the new site which allows constituents to easily access its most frequently visited portions.  In addition, the varied operations of the office were compiled into subsections on the website in order to reduce the confusion and clutter of too much information. 

A few months after the initial launch, the office added a translation service to the site in order to further encourage economic development opportunities with businesses outside of the United States.

The Office of the Secretary of State's website is now one of the most frequently visited websites in Kentucky State Government.
