Secretary of State Trey Grayson recently visited the Millersburg Military Institute to address the Cadets about the importance of civic engagement for young people.

“I think it is imperative that students be exposed to the importance of our Nation’s democratic principles,” Secretary Grayson stated after speaking to the Cadets.  “The cadets at Millersburg definitely embody a great hope for the future of our Commonwealth.  Their zeal for civic engagement is refreshing.”

After his address, Secretary Grayson was presented with a framed drawing of the Institute’s administrative buildings.  While on campus, he also met with Colonel and Mrs. Carruthers, the first family of the Millersburg Military Institute.
