Pursuant to KRS 117.383, the Secretary of State is required after all elections to randomly select one (1) ballot scanner and one (1) race tabulated on that scanner for a hand-to-eye recount for each county of the Commonwealth. A random selection was conducted for each county and the selections are indicated here.

In Kentucky, business entities are required by law to formally dissolve. In order to properly close, a domestic entity must file articles of dissolution, and a foreign entity must file a certificate of withdrawal. These forms are available for download on this website.

If you are dissolving a business entity, the Secretary of State's office recommends that you contact the following state and federal agencies to ensure that you have no other legal or financial obligations:

Internal Revenue Service
Kentucky Department of Revenue
Kentucky Department of Unemployment Insurance
County Clerk's Office
If licensed, confirm with licensing agency
